My phone didn't appreciate involuntary swim in the river yesterday. Even though it should be waterproof, water somehow found it's way into the case. The phone is still working properly but there's one small problem: it won't charge...
With Lionel's help we open the case to let the moisture out. Not much else to do than hope for the best.
Would be quite a bummer, if the phone died, as it's an essential piece on this trip.
While waiting, Lionel takes me for another ride to a nearby lake and the beach. Feels good to be at the beach again after hiking the last two weeks through mountains.
We get back home right in time for lunch. After the tasty meal, I spend the Christmas afternoon planning the upcoming sections. Lionel, with all his knowledge, is a great help and gives me a lot of valuable information.
The Rakaia and Rangitata Rivers, two rivers, which can be dangerous to cross and therefore are not part of the Te Araroa are massive obstacles. I still need to figure out how to get around.
After tea, I retry to charge my phone. Bingo! It works :) What a relief! With my own and my phone's battery charged, I'm all set to hit the trail again tomorrow.

Fantastic blog you have here but I was wondering if you knew of any user discussion forums that cover the same topics talked about in this article? I'd really like to be a part of community where I can get suggestions from other experienced people that share the same interest. If you have any suggestions, please let me know. Thank you!

With havin so much written content do you ever run into any issues of plagorism or copyright infringement? My website has a lot of unique content I've either written myself or outsourced but it seems a lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my authorization. Do you know any solutions to help reduce content from being ripped off? I'd really appreciate it.

Hey there! Do you know if they make any plugins to safeguard against hackers? I'm kinda paranoid about losing everything I've worked hard on. Any recommendations?

I absolutely love your blog and find many of your post's to be what precisely I'm looking for. Would you offer guest writers to write content to suit your needs? I wouldn't mind producing a post or elaborating on many of the subjects you write about here. Again, awesome web site!
