Day 5: Mozzies

Distance: 45km (who would have thought...) 

Again a very similar day with not much. Exactly what the hiker I met on day two promised me. 

Today though, I meet some bikers while passing Bojobaeskihytta. A great bunch of people. They are heading the same direction as I do and since we have a similar pace, I have a good chat with some of them. A welcome change.

At one point, after a river crossing, our path split. They continue east, I continue south (where else ;). 

Progress along an ATV track is easy. Somehow I have the feeling, the underground is getting dryer. The mosquitoes however have a different opinion and start stalking me again. By the time I found a good spot to pitch my tent, thousands of them are swarming around me, looking for an opportunity to bite me. Super uncomfortable. I pitch my tent as fast as I can while having pasta cooking. Once both is finished, I retreat to the tent. The only place to be safe from these bloody blood suckers.
